Next public performances…
I’ll be going to the Buxton Storytelling session at 2 p.m. tomorrow (Sunday 10th) and I’ll be telling more Peak District folktales at Bakewell Bookshop on Monday 18th (7.30 p.m.), Partington Theatre Glossop on Friday 22nd (7.30 p.m.), and probably Stebbing Wharf, Hebden Bridge at 8 p.m. on Friday 29th. Then I must prepare a piece for the workshop in Cromford on Sunday 31st…
But in the meantime, Pam and Margaret and I will be performing in Disley Library on the afternoon of Tuesday 19th. Here’s the advert that Pam constructed, along with the library staff:
“Another exciting Author Event to look forward to on Tuesday 19th July.Margaret Holbrook, Pamela Turton and Mark Henderson will be entertaining us with readings from their books. Come along and join us for this free event. Tea and biscuits will be served.”

After the One-Act Play Festival week in Glossop, and various competition deadlines to meet by the end of July, it’s all go… But what fun to enjoy in such dark political and economic times!
